FIRST RESCUE OF 2010 SEASON
This litter of kittens was rescued in Springfield Park early in August last year - they were only 2 days old. Foster parent Robyn took them in and cared for them with the able assistance of her Yorkshire Terrier, Pixie, who took her fostering role very seriously. The kittens were fed with kitten milk by Robin and then Pixie took over …. cleaning and cuddling them, and even suckling them although she didn’t have any milk herself. Us humans could learn a thing or two from Pixie – - no xenophobia here!
